This work aims to identify and describe the common aspects of the studies that analyze the relationship between the construct of cognitive styles (CS) in the Dependency Independence dimension of the DIC field and that of learning patterns (LP), to establish conceptual, methodological, and strategic elements that are useful to be incorporated into educational processes. A two-way analysis (bibliometric and content) of 10 documents that analyzed CS and LP was performed. The results showed the close relationship between the two variables and the implications for learning processes, such as the one in virtuality.
