Resumen
El emprendimiento está asociado con el desarrollo económico y social de los países y, la educación superior busca fomentar la creatividad e ideas emprendedoras usando metodologías innovadoras. El presente artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo determinar el estado del arte de la investigación acerca las metodologías innovadoras en la educación superior virtual, para impulsar el emprendimiento desde los programas académicos y analizar el impacto que tienen en la intención emprendedora de los estudiantes en la creación de empresas. Para esto se llevó a cabo un análisis de la literatura científica de 50 documentos indexados en WOS, entre los años 2016-2021, sobre metodologías innovadoras y emprendimiento. Los resultados muestran que las instituciones educativas son conscientes del impacto que algunas metodologías innovadoras pueden representar en los estudiantes, pero deben evaluar su efectividad para contribuir desde los campus virtuales a generar más cultura emprendedora, y aumentar la intención emprendedora entre los estudiantes
